Our
PADI Open Water Courses are
personalized and flexibly scheduled with the ocean training and lake
training dives taking place in all locations in Maine.
The
PADI Open Water Certification
Course consists of academic sessions and/or eLearing, confined water
(heated pool), and open water (ocean and or lake) portions. Once
certified, PADI Open Water Divers are qualified to dive anywhere in
the world- up to a recommended maximum of 60 feet. You may be
eligible to get college
credit for learning how to scuba dive. PADI courses have been
recommended by a variety of Institutions for college credit or
funding in various countries throughout the world.

Downeast
Diving's
scuba courses are
flexibly scheduled. You create your own individualized training
schedule, with academic, pool and open water dive sessions available
7 days a week. Meet weekdays, in the evening or weekends, or schedule
weekend sessions for 2-4 hours per meeting. While we are based in
Eastport, our goal is to offer the best overall dive experience no
matter where in Maine you may be.

Options and Cancellation Policy |

Payment by credit card, check, or cash of $150.00 per person is needed
to reserve your course dates- full
payment is made the day the course begins. MasterCard, Visa, Discover,
American Express, check, and cash are accepted.
The
cancellation of
a scuba course
within 48 hours of the scheduled start time will result in a
cancellation fee of $150 per person. Refunds are not offered once the
course has progressed beyond the first session.
